The design vision came from the building’s roots, reinforcing its many inherent cues – from old wood ceilings to large windows and ample open space. The second floor living space includes a central kitchen with the living and dining spaces on either end. The third floor addition, which includes the primary bedroom, bathroom and an outdoor patio, mimics its neighboring historic structures by using a mansard roof and industrial windows. And throughout, the rooms are open, spacious, and flooded with natural light.
