This house is a concept for a new home in Steam Boat Springs, Colorado. The client wanted to frame the dramatic mountain views and maintain a one floor living layout for the master suite. BHA proposed a shed roof, low on the entry side sweeping up to the rear to present a panorama of the entire mountain range. Secondary living spaces were located on the lower level, providing accommodations for visiting family and friends. The materials used were heavy timber, stone and natural siding.
