Blackney Hayes Architects was commissioned by The Office of Community Development of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia to develop design and documentation for the adaptive reuse of a former school building in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia. The program includes an 8,000 SF addition, 60, 1-bedroom units on the first, second and third floors and community spaces on the ground level. Partial financing for this project was procured through HUD 202 tax credits.
