BHA’s design configured this multi-specialty practice so that various staff areas were integrated yet not overlapping. The office was functionally separated into two main zones. The centralized nurses station allowed nurses to have easy and fast access to all the exam rooms, which were positioned to surround it. Outside the patient zone, the physicians offices, a locker room, a lunch room, and a large meeting room stretched around the perimeter of the space. To ensure patient privacy, BHA placed patient scheduling offices behind the reception area.
