The Chemistry Department wished to increase the number of students able to work in the lab without disturbing existing duct chases or significant upgrades to the building systems. The project included a full interior renovation as well as upgraded lighting, electrical, heating, ventilation and air conditioning. BHA successfully addressed the limited existing space with a creative lab layout that increased the class size and student storage, while maintaining safety and Professor visibility.
