Carmen Bushong, AIA | Associate
Time with BHA: 8 Years
Outside the office, Carmen enjoys planning and working on her garden. She spends time dreaming up renovations to her suburban mid-century home. She also enjoys experimenting in the kitchen, doing something artistic, or driving her two boys around to sports, band, or birthday parties.
Carmen's current work at BHA includes working on AIM Academy on their new Innovation Center addition and continuing to work with Cristo Rey Philadelphia as they grow. She is also working with The Grayson School as they explore possibilities for the future of their school. Carmen continues to work with Lafayette College as they make improvements to their engineering building and elsewhere on campus. She recently completed the renovation of a historic center city high-rise as a new home for the Philadelphia Electrical & Technology Charter High School.
Tyler Cooney, AIA, LEED AP | Associate
Time with BHA: 4.5 Years
Tyler is an avid reader outside the office, reading about 2-3 books a month, usually of the fantasy, horror, thriller, or science fiction variety. He is involved with his local synagogue, and also spends time discovering and rediscovering music of all genres, watching football and basketball, and playing with his three-year-old son.
Tyler's current work at BHA includes renovations at Robert Pollock Elementary School, the Carriage House at the Inn at Villanova University, and an addition to Temple University's ASTAR building. Some recently completed projects include PHA North Central Phase III, 39 Montgomery, and Radnor Family Practice.
Patrick Gallagher, RA, CSI, CDT | Associate
Time with BHA: 3.5 Years
Outside the office, Pat enjoys gardening and golfing. On the weekends he enjoys visiting wineries and breweries throughout South Jersey with his wife. Recently, Pat and his wife purchased a piece of land to build their retirement house.
Patrick's current work at BHA includes the new TM Peirce Elementary School which is scheduled to be completed this Fall 2023, as well as several other improvement projects for the School District of Philadelphia. He recently completed the Four Falls Corporate Center facade improvements, Villanova Law School Garage overbuild, and the Villanova Baseball and Softball Practice Facilities.
Traci Luckenbill, AIA | Associate, Studio Manager
Time with BHA: 13 Years
Outside the office, Traci's hobbies include hiking, traveling, painting, drawing, crocheting, and knitting. She is the Treasurer and Chair of the Board for the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of Women in Healthcare and a member of the Philadelphia AIA's Academy of Architecture for Health committee.
Traci's current work at BHA includes reimagining the Water Works within Anson B. Nixon Park with the Kennett Area Park Authority. She has been meeting with community stakeholders to envision the development of the portion of the park into a vibrant addition to an already beautiful natural space. She also has been working with a local university to design a new residence hall that will elevate and enhance the undergraduate campus experience.
John Townsend, NCIDQ | Associate
Time with BHA: 8 Years
Outside the office, some of John's hobbies and community involvement consist of running, coaching his younger daughter's soccer team, traveling, and cooking.
John's current work at BHA includes renovations to Mendel Lobby at Villanova University, Cushman Wakefield Philadelphia Headquarters, the Villanova Carriage House, and the development of a Master Plan for TCNJ athletics.
